Brand Spotlight: Nike

“Hey, check out these new Nikes I just got”

*Looks down at their feet to see they are wearing slippers*

“No, up here. My new glasses, pretty slick, right?”

Yes, very slick.

Nike is one of the most well-known and iconic brands in the world. The “swoosh” logo and tagline “Just Do It” is known by virtually everyone on the planet. Nike is truly a powerhouse in the athletic apparel and fashion world.

Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman started the company in 1964 under the name “Blue Ribbon Sports.” The name was change to Nike in 1971. The company was named after the Greek Goddess of Victory, Nike.

Nike is known worldwide as the leader in sports fashion and apparel. Their clothing is functional and fashionable and they continue to stay up to date with the trends and often create new ones.

The sportswear giant has their hands in more than just athletic shoes and clothing, they also make very nice looking, high-quality eye wear.

Nike has always endorsed the top athletes in the sporting world. They are currently teamed up with NBA superstar Kevin Durant to produce a signature line of eyewear called the “KD Optical Collection.” Durant is known for having a unique style and these glasses match it perfectly.

The newest lines of the brand’s frames feature a modern, sleek look based off the classic Wayfarer and Club Master style.
